Crossing the Atlantic. This remixed "best of" set collects 10 years' worth of Revealers hit singles, like the brotherhood fantasy "Better Way," making a good case for the proposition that Jamaican TV soap star and lead vocalist Billy Mystic is among the more talented of the hoards of reggae saviors that sprang up in the wake of Bob Marley's 1984 demise. That the Revealers are about serious business is made clear from the liner notes' mission statement

Since the five-week voyage of Christopher Columbus in 1492, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, quickly and safely, between Europe and the Americas has always been an important issue. Today, the route has become a classic one among skippers. The record is one of the most prestigious, next to the Jules Verne Trophy, for which it is often a good preparation. This record can be achieved both ways: from west to east or from east to west
