Wilfred "Will" Downing (born November 29, 1963, Brooklyn, New York) is an American singer and songwriter. He is married to singer Audrey Wheeler, who was a member of the R&B group Unlimited Touch. Downing enrolled in Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York. Alumni of the school include record label executives Clive Davis (who founded Arista Records), Kedar Massenburg (who later became president of Motown),Stephanie Mills and singer Barbra Streisand.

Will Downing was born Wilfred Downing on 29 November, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He studied as a music producer in a school whose alumni included Kedar Massenburg, the president of Motown, and Barbara Streisand. Downing graduated in 1981 and went on to later record for the music company, Motown. Will Downing gave a terrific performance and allowed his musical guests, background vocalists and musicians opportunities throughout to display their talents. He also arranged his set to allow subtly staggered rest periods for his vocalists and musicians, which did not detract in any way from the set and was likely unnoticed by most.
