Gal Costa is the first solo album by the Brazilian singer Gal Costa, released in 1969. It was ranked the 80th best Brazilian album of all time by the Brazilian Rolling Stone magazine. Considered one of the most representative records of the countercultural Tropicália movement, the album features songwriting by various artist associated with the movement, with whom Costa had previously worked with in the 1968 collaboration album Tropicália: ou Panis et Circencis.

Nikka Costa is the debut studio album by Nikka Costa. It was released in 1981 by CBS Records when Costa was nine years old, fifteen years before her first album for older audiences was released, and twenty years before her breakthrough album Everybody Got Their Something. Costa's cover of "(Out Here) On My Own", originally from the musical film Fame, was released as a single from the album. The single topped the charts in Europe.

The Carlo Costa Quartet plays slow moving acoustic textural improvised music which makes use of a specific sonic pallet and musical vocabulary that the group has developed over time. This was music with a heartbeat. Not one obtusely enforced by the drummer, but rather an irregular one with a vital pulse that revolved around and through the communal musical organism which seemed to breathe, grow, and diminish on its own.
