A-ha fans gathered at the Nordic Bar in London’s West End on Saturday 14th May to say a final farewell to the Norwegian pop trio. To keep everyone in the party mood, a-ha themed cocktails were on offer including a ‘Manhattan Skyline’ and a ‘Mortini’. Many had made the journey to the gig in Oslo and had fun spotting themselves in the crowd shots on the DVD. As Saturday turned into Sunday the DJ entertained the fans with an a-ha-only set, and Nordic canapés kept everyone going. The end of the evening also marked the end of an era for most at this gathering. After 25 years a-ha have called time on their career but the music will endure. As someone said to me it’s sad, but I’ll always have the records.
