Heartaches" is a popular song with music by Al Hoffman and lyrics by John Klenner. The song was published in 1931, was placed on all of the record labels of the time (Victor, Columbia, Brunswick and the many dime store labels), but it was not a particularly big hit at the time. The biggest recorded version of the song was by the Ted Weems Orchestra, with Elmo Tanner whistling. The recording was made in 1933 on Bluebird B-5131 (in a novelty fast rhumba tempo) to low record sales

Eddy Howard (September 12, 1914 – May 23, 1963) was an American vocalist and bandleader who was popular during the 1940s and 1950s.

This fact is demonstrated on this CD by the inclusion of such Eddy Howard classics as "To Each His Own," and "(It's No) Si. The sound quality is good, and my only complaint is that some of the great Eddy Howard classics are not included. 12 people found this helpful.
