My Love Is Cool is the debut studio album by English alternative rock band Wolf Alice. It was released on 22 June 2015 in the United Kingdom by Dirty Hit and on 23 June 2015 in the United States by RCA Records. The album includes the previously released singles "Bros" and "Fluffy" in re-recorded versions, and was preceded by the songs "Giant Peach" and "You're a Germ"

It should earn Wolf Alice legions of fans, and become a half-guilty pleasure for anyone who thinks they’re way too hip to like anyone who’s appeared on the front of the NME. Like all great rock bands Wolf Alice channel stuff you know, without sounding like anyone else. It’s a really hard thing to do, and ‘My Love Is Cool’ smashes it. The influences are eclectic and on-point: there’s a monster grunge riff on ‘Giant Peach’, and a chorus worthy of The Spice Girls – seriously – on ‘Freazy’

While the songs themselves are awesome, I can't say the same about the pressing. Tried this twice from Amazon. Just looking at it there was a noticeable warp on the first record (it played, but still that warp) and the second record looked like someone used a BB gun on it, dents galore. Both records very noisy even after cleaning. Sent it back and tried again. Well this time the second record had a warp that actually skips. Again both records noisy. YMMV, but very disappointing.

For anyone wondering, the Blush EP is a completely different issue to the one on chess club records. Different sleeve, inner sleeve and different pressing. No where near as good as the Chess club package of the EP

I think the first 500 were gold. I just got an email saying they are sending the autographed print (which was previously thought to only be for the UK sales) this week. When I originally purchased I thought I would get the autograph, so it will be good to finally get it (if you are in the first 500).

They did a label variance. The US Gold is limited to 500 on RCA label, UK is on the Dirty Hit Label. That was the confusion.

I asked the UK label and they said that 2000 copies were pressed and the first 1000 came with the card.

I bought the Gold double Vinyl from the bands website last week and no signed art card inside. First class delivery though and packaging. Arrived in Ireland 2 days after dispatch from the UK.
