White Blood Cells is the third studio album by American garage rock duo The White Stripes, released on July 3, 2001. Recorded in less than one week at Easley-McCain Recording in Memphis, Tennessee, and produced by frontman and guitarist Jack White, it was the band's final record released independently on Sympathy for the Record Industry. Bolstered by the hit single "Fell in Love with a Girl", the record propelled The White Stripes into early commercial popularity and critical success.

The third album by Jack and Meg White was the right dynamite for a mainstream breakthrough. Jack’s Delta-roadhouse fantasies, Detroit-garage-rock razzle and busted-love lyricism, as well as Meg’s toy-thunder drumming all peaked at once. King’s first album for the Stax label combines his hard, unflashy guitar playing with the sleek sound of the label’s house band, Booker T. and the MG’s. Hits such as Crosscut Saw and Laundromat Blues earned King a new rock & roll audience.

White Blood Cells was generally welcomed by critics and was designated/won distinctive awards. The artist just dropped his latest collection White Blood Cells – and we have it here for you to check out! The White Stripes's new collection includes 16 tracks on 1 disc(s) with total runtime of 40:23

Talk about The White Stripes - White Blood Cells

Dont_Wory
As good as The White Stripes are ever going to sound, beats the digital version by MILES! Plus the packaging is really good; thick cover, nice booklet and with a nice poly lined inner sleeve. There a crackle hear and there but it’s nothing distracting. Great pressing!
Mardin
is it really SIMPATHY with "I" on the Matrix / Runout? I have a version with hand-etched SYMPATHY
Mojar
This was pressed at united :( It's filled with pops and ticks throughout. The first side is not too bad but side 2 has annoying surface noise that just ruins the listening experience.
Boraston
Sounds great! But, side 2 label is on both sides. I bought it sealed and new. Thankfully, all songs are on there. Anyone else have this labeling error?
Minha
I know Jack White does crazy things with vinyl, but what is the point of a 13" record besides to be goofy?
Burirus
Does it sound good, I would like to know :) !
Yadon
You could say the same about any sort of vinyl novelty. What's the point of coloured vinyl? Why have liquid-filled vinyl? Why have vinyl that has a hologram? Or an etching? The main answer is because it's fun, but it also makes shitloads of money
Malodred
Surely the best way to enjoy The White Stripes? The songs sound great on vinyl.
Vudojar
Jack White is one of those guys who had the bad luck of having been born a few decades too late (which, music-wise, I can totally empathize with). That's why his music lends itself so well to analog mediums, like this record shows. If you're a fan of The White Stripes and their stripped down, analog, retro, garage sound you'll love this album much more on vinyl than on CD. For me, even though Elephant was way more successful, this is their best album.I recommend it!
Freaky Hook
how sound this version ? any problem ? please let us know....dude..
Orevise
Sounds great. Quieter noise floor than the CD. Not a lot of low end but that's kinda the White Stripes sound. I Think I Smell a Rat sounds fantastic!
MOQ
Just to confirm here for the split-color version: 500 pressed.
Mr.Champions
This is a really nice pressing. No problems with mine whatsoever - and lovely to see it coming in a audiophile plastic-coated paper sleeve so none of the crap that comes with so many paper wrapped discs nowadays.
Amerikan_Volga
I have a copy of the SRTRI press on black, but it's got two Side B labels. Anyone else find that?
Trex
Does anyone know how many of the 13" were pressed?
black coffe
Japanese edition has two bonus tracks, "Jolene" & "Hand Springs".
