Some tracks, like "Heart of Spring," move a little too close to Celtic-flavored movie music, but even there it's good Celtic-flavored film-style composition. Overall, this is memorable, alternately exciting and soothing, and one of the most worthwhile releases in the Windham Hill catalog.

It has a strong Celtic feel to it as might be expected from the title; still it is certainly new age in style. I really enjoyed the energy in Equis Fair. Road to the Faire and Quest of Culwch. You can hear the joy in Heart of Spring. I like the story told in The Boats. The CD is very enjoyable.
