New Light is a collection of five previously unreleased tracks, culled from the last three years, that reside in the softer and more ambient spaces within Shigeto's repertoire.

Shigeto’s new EP Weighted is set for release Sept 29th via Ghostly International and the first single Fight Club is streaming online now. A new Shigeto album, The New Monday, is on the way via Ghostly International. Due out in October, The New Monday is Detroit producer Zachary Saginaw's first Shigeto LP since No Better Time Than Now back in 2013. The nine-track album-which takes its name from the weekly event series he helps throw at Motor City Wine called Monday Is The New Monday-is described as being influenced by "the community of Detroit" while "leaning more into a dance music direction.
