It is the first album delivered by the band since 2010’s self-titled album, Daughters, and an eight-year hiatus. On October 29, 2018, Ipecac Recordings posted a video that features interviews with the band members detailing what was involved to reform the band and release the album. But what set Daughters apart was the unnerving nature of their menace - you truly didn’t know what frontman Alexis Marshall might say or do.
