Skalpel are nu jazz DJs and musicians, Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudło, from Wrocław in Poland. Their musical style is a distinctive blend of hip hop beats, laced with samples lifted from the rich seam of Polish jazz records of the 1960s and 1970s.

1) Skalpel is a DJs/producer duo (Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudlo) from Wroclaw, Poland. Being part of the Ninja Foreign Legion, they're among the best-known and most respected DJs and producers, in Poland awarded with Paszporty Polityki (a prestigious, mainstream cultural award). Four of their mixes were aired on Solid Steel in the past, two of which were released on the "Virtual Cuts" mixtape.

The duo Skalpel, discovered in Poland by Russian expat DJ Vadim on a tour, reportedly has a large collection of, and affinity for, Polish jazz.
