Shania Twain is the self-titled debut studio album by Shania Twain, released on April 20, 1993 by Polygram and Mercury Records. The album achieved little to moderate commercial success worldwide when first released, but following the significant success of Twain's subsequent studio albums, an increased interest in Shania Twain developed, leading it to be certified platinum in the United States for shipments of one million copies.

Shania: Live is a DVD released by singer Shania Twain. It is a home video of a TV concert special, showing an entire concert from her Come on Over Tour. The show was filmed on September 12, 1998 in Dallas, Texas and aired live on DirecTV free of charge. The music video for "Come on Over" was taken from this special. The video was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1999. Shania Twain Live was also released in Australia but only on VHS Video Cassette in 1999.

Twain's second studio album, 1995's The Woman in Me, brought her widespread fame. It sold 20 million copies worldwide, spawning hits such as "Any Man of Mine" and earning her a Grammy Award. Twain's third album, Come On Over, became the best-selling studio album of all time by a female act in any genre and the best-selling country album of all time, selling around 40 million copies worldwide. Come On Over produced several singles, including "You're Still the One", "From This Moment On" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!", and earned Twain.

Refreshingly, the Shania Twain Live DVD is not a live album translated into a half-baked concert video, but was conceived as a video concert instead. Twenty-four of Twain's pop-country hits - including "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," "You're Still the One," "That Don't Impress Me Much," "Come on Over," "Honey I'm Home," and "Black Eyes, Blue Tears" - comprise the set of her somewhat theatrical performance.
