Post Mortem is the second album by the American heavy metal band Black Tide, released on August 23, 2011. The album was produced by Josh Wilbur and GGGarth. It is the band's first album to feature guitarist Austin Diaz, after the departure of Alex Nuñez in 2008. The album was originally intended to be self-titled and was set for release in February 2011, but it was later announced that the album would be titled Post Mortem and the release date would be pushed back to August 23, 2011.

The first appearance of definitely-not PM photos being billed as such appeared online in 2004. At least, that’s as far back as the archive goes. Viralnova wrote that how the man’s arm is positioned as evidence of death. This is Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Caroll, very much alive. Nobody dead for 9 days looks this perfect. I am doing a presentation on post-mortem photography for my Victorian literature class, and was wondering, do you know of any way to verify a so-called post-mortem photo? Or know of anyone who can?

This led to the practice of post mortem photography. Sad, sometimes seen as morbid, these photos were sometimes the only visual record a family had of a loved one's existence. Grieving loved ones would pay for the memento. Most folks didn't have large albums of their children growing up unless they could paint or draw themselves or were able to afford an artist or photographer to do it for them. Child Mortality rates were also high during the Victorian age. This led to the practice of post mortem photography.

New Renaissance Records has announced the reissue of the first album from the Boston punk metal pioneers POST MORTEM, "Coroner's Office". 22nd birthday, early 2008. POST MORTEM was formed on March 22, 1982, in the outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts.

Warning: this post contains autopsy photography that some may find upsetting. Post-mortem ocular changes are not conclusive post-mortem interval evidence. The issue here is one of scientific certainty ; the fact is, despite what is depicted on television, we cannot assess postmortem intervals with any degree of scientific certainty based solely on ocular changes alone. Over time, post-mortem ocular changes include clouding of cornea and tache noir (brown corneal surface from exposure to the environment between eyelids). Clouding is not irrespective of environmental influences; a more arid environment will cause the eye to dry out much quicker.

Post-mortem photography (also known as memorial portraiture or a mourning portrait) is the practice of photographing the recently deceased. Various cultures use and have used this practice, though the best-studied area of post-mortem photography is that of Europe and America. There can be considerable dispute as to whether individual early photographs actually show a dead person or not, often sharpened by commercial considerations.

Another photo manipulation just for the creepy factor with the result that way to many people believe this is a real Victorian post mortem. org. ngs-hi.
