The second incarnation of Chick Corea's influential fusion group released only a single record, the magnificent Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy. Featuring a more rock-oriented approach than the Flora Purim-Joe Farrell band that was responsible for both Return to Forever and Light as a Feather, Corea and old standby Stanley Clarke join forces here with propulsive drummer Lenny White and electric guitarist Bill Connors

A1. Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy. Composed By, Arranged By – Chick Corea. A2. After The Cosmic Rain. Composed By, Arranged By – Stanley Clarke. A3. Captain Senor Mouse. B1. Theme To The Mothership. B2. Space Circus, Parts 1 & 2.

Live is the final album by fusion band Return to Forever. It was recorded live at the Palladium in New York City on May 20 and 21 1977 as part of the Musicmagic tour to support the album of the same name. This was the only tour to feature the Musicmagic (1977) lineup, which included original members Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and Joe Farrell, along with newly added member, Chick Corea's wife, Gayle Moran on vocals, piano and organ, and a six-piece horn section.

Return to Forever is a jazz fusion album by Chick Corea, simultaneously functioning as the debut album by the band of the same name. Unlike later albums by the group, it was released by the ECM label and produced by Manfred Eicher. The album was not released in the USA until 1975. The record is often considered one of the classic albums in electric jazz. All tracks are composed by Corea except where noted. Chick Corea – Fender Rhodes electric piano.

Chick Corea (USA) - Return to forever/1972 – What Game Shall We Play Today. Return to Forever Featuring Chick Corea – Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy. Return to Forever Featuring Chick Corea – Space Circus. Chick Corea & Return To Forever – Sometime Ago - La Fiesta.

Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy is the third studio album by American jazz fusion band Return to Forever. It was released in October 1973 by Polydor. Flora Purim, Joe Farrell, and Airto Moreira were replaced by drummer Lenny White and guitarist Bill Connors. Clarke contributed one song for the album while Corea wrote the rest of the material. Corea relied mostly on electric piano and organ.

Chick Corea is an undisputed master of his instrument as is Stanley Clarke and the countless musicians they have played with in the past, they don't hold back in spitting out flurries of superfast notes to orgasms of technical ecstasy. It is more then easy to see why people listen to them only for a show of ability but the conflicting distinction here I am trying to make is that despite this it is not the end all of RTF, as a collective whole they have a strong sense of melody and songwriting ethics and where they concentrate on working with it they.
