Walk with Me is the third studio album by British singer-songwriter Jamelia. It was released by Parlophone Records on 25 September 2006 in the UK and Europe. It was released on 17 March 2007 in Australia. No More" contains a sample of "Golden Brown" by The Stranglers. Ain't a Love" contains a drum sample from "Jungle Jazz" by Kool & the Gang.
The album is named Walk with Me as a tribute to the journey which she has taken over the course of her career: "I just feel like my life and my career has been a journey and I’ve always felt that I’ve been lucky enough to have people just be there for me. It’s also an invitation for anyone who has never bought a Jamelia record to have a listen to i. Something About You" was the first single from English R&B singer Jamelia's third album, Walk with Me. The single was released on 11 September 2006. Jamelia described the sound of the single as being more "experimental".
After the release of her second studio album, Jamelia took a break from her career to give birth to her second daughter Tiani. Thank You is the second studio album by English singer and songwriter Jamelia, first released on 29 September 2003 by Parlophone Records. Recording sessions for Thank You took place from mid-2002 until early 2003 and features production from a variety of record producers including, Colin Emmanuel (who produced the majority of the album), Cutfather, Soulshock, Peter Biker, Matt Kent and Cameron McVey among others. It was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize in 2004.
She then released her debut full-length studio album, Drama, in June 2000. Jamelia went onto release further successful singles, including "Superstar" and "Thank You" which charted at number three and number two on the UK Singles Charts respectively, with "Superstar" charting at number one in Australia and becoming platinum certified in Australia.
