Songs (Fra Lippo Lippi album). Songs is the third studio album by Norwegian new wave band Fra Lippo Lippi. Later that year, Virgin Records signed the band to a worldwide contract.

Fra Lippo Lippi is a Norwegian band. They had several hits in the 1980s, such as "Shouldn't Have to Be Like That", "Everytime I See You" and "Light and Shade", and recorded a new album as late as 2002. The band name is derived from Robert Browning's poem about the Renaissance painter Filippo Lippi. Fra Lippo Lippi was founded in Nesodden, Norway in 1978 by bassist Rune Kristoffersen, drummer Morten Sjøberg and keyboardist Bjørn Sorknes.

Songs is the third studio album by Norwegian pop rock group Fra Lippo Lippi. The album was reissued and released internationally in 1986 with some songs re-recorded or remixed and the addition of the song "Everytime I See You". Lippi was born in Florence around 1406 to Tommaso, a butcher, and his wife. Both his parents died when he was still a child. Mona Lapaccia, his aunt, who being too poor to rear him placed him at the age of eight in the neighbouring Carmelite convent, where he was educated.
