Happy End (Japanese: はっぴいえんど Hepburn: Happī Endo) is the self-titled debut album by Japanese folk rock band Happy End. Because their third album is also self-titled, although written in English, this first album is also known by the name "Yudemen" (ゆでめん) after the sign depicted in the cover art. All the album's lyrics were written by Takashi Matsumoto, with the exception of "Tobenai Sora" (Haruomi Hosono) and "Ira Ira" (Eiichi Ohtaki)

2 is the debut full-length studio album by Canadian musician Mac DeMarco. It was recorded in June and released in October 2012 on the Captured Tracks label. DeMarco moved from Vancouver to Montreal in 2011. There, he recorded an EP under his own name, Rock and Roll Nightclub. Featuring slowed-down vocals and elements of glam rock, this recording garnered enough attention that his label, Captured Tracks, agreed to finance a full-length album

Happy End (Japanese: はっぴいえんど Hepburn: Happī Endo) was a Japanese folk rock band active from 1969 to 1972. Composed of Haruomi Hosono, Takashi Matsumoto, Eiichi Ohtaki and Shigeru Suzuki, the band's pioneering sound was regarded as avant-garde to most Japanese at the time. They are considered to be among the most influential artists in Japanese music. MTV described Happy End's music as "rock with psych smudges around the edges.

Mac DeMarco is the dirtbag poet laureate. The Canadian wunderkind got his start putting out low-stakes folk songs in-between stints on a paving crew and as a medical test subject. His candor and natural ambivalence towards celebrity earned him a following of thousands of teenagers. There is just something honest about DeMarco - his songs are easy, his wisdom is pure. DeMarco wears starchy Goodwill button-ups and sports a big split-toothed grin. He is the opposite of a star, and that’s what brings us closer. DeMarco recently put out his third full-length album, This Old Dog. As usual it’s filled with simple, sticky tributes to love, loss and the spaces in between. DeMarco is notably direct in his lyricism, which makes it pretty easy to carve out a miniature self-help book. Here are 19 wise DeMarco lyrics we can all learn from. 2 Sketchy Days With Mac DeMarco.
