Rory Gallagher - Top Priority (1979).

Top Priority is Rory Gallagher's tenth album. It was his fourth and final studio album for Chrysalis Records both in the UK and USA. The album was the second with his revised power trio band. Like the previous album Photo-Finish, Top Priority is a return to hard rock. The ballads, acoustic and folk influences that were seen on albums such as Calling Card are replaced by more conventional but powerful blues rock.

Blueprint is the fourth album by Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher, released as a vinyl record in 1973. With his first band Taste and with his solo band up to this point Gallagher was one of the first guitarists to lead a power trio lineup. With Blueprint Gallagher included a keyboardist for the first time.

With the success of his 1978 album, Photo Finish, his current record label, Chrysalis, had promised to make the guitarist’s next album their top priority, hence the album’s title. The album was released less than a year after Photo Finish, which given his busy touring schedule, was quite remarkable considering the quality of the music on offer.

Arriving only a year after Photo-Finish, when he spent much of his time on the road, it's remarkable that Gallagher could continue to churn out the hook-heavy high-quality tunes he wrote for this album. Playing larger arenas toughened his songs and attack, almost all of which here are high-octane sweaty rockers.

I have this album as a "Sample Record", the numbers and track listing are the same as this release apart from the "Sample" sticker on the label and a big label stuck on the sleeve stating: AWA (logo) Programme Services 47 York Street Sydney etc. and also the number "M1631" written in marker pen.Is the one I have a fresh submission? or can I list it here with this release?
