String of Pearls" is the debut studio album by Australian rock singer-songwriter and guitarist, Deborah Conway. The album was released in October 1991 and peaked at number 20 on the Australian ARIA Charts. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1992, the album received nominated for four awards; ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist – Album, ARIA Award for Album of the Year, ARIA Award for Best Cover Art and ARIA Award for Best Female Artist. It won Best Female artist.

The album was initially released independently in December 2004 by Big Box Records. It was later re-released nationally as a CD-DVD combo from Inpop Records on August 16, 2005, with a slightly rearranged track listing.
Album: Diamonds And Pearls. Unlike many of Prince's previous albums, Diamonds And Pearls didn't contain any updated tracks from the vault. All of the album's 13 songs were written and recorded over the course of a year and a half.
As a response, he formed the New Power Generation and recorded Diamonds and Pearls, his first record to reconnect with the urban audience since 1999, as well as his first to acknowledge the hip-hop revolution.
