Starboy is the third studio album by Canadian singer The Weeknd. It was released on November 25, 2016, by Republic Records and XO. The album features guest appearances from Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future. It was supported by seven singles: "Starboy", "I Feel It Coming", "Party Monster", "Reminder", "Rockin'", "Die for You", and "Secrets".

I was a teenager when I saw Scarface, and even though it was unbelievable, it’s kind of cool Tony Montana could survive all those gunshots and not feel them. The album won a Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2018 Grammys held on Jan.

On Black Friday, The Weeknd unleashes his highly-anticipated album. The Canadian crooner announced the album in September, shortly before releasing Starboy and False Alarm. At around the same time, he revealed that this LP would be his best sounding effort yet. There are new inspirations on this album, he said if the follow-up to last year’s Beauty Behind the Madness. The production feels aggressive but still sexy. The Smiths, Bad Brains, Talking Heads, Prince, and DeBarge play roles. We wrote it all in Los Angeles.
