Heavy Metal Chainsaw is their second full length album, released 10 years back in 2001, 5 years after their debut Heavy Metal Drill, displaying the typical gap between releases. Compared to the extremely raw and unpolished song qualities on Heavy Metal Drill, Heavy Metal Chainsaw displays a growth in the songwriting of the band. Throughout the album are songs that instantly catch the ears of the listener, and it doesn't take much effort on the band's part to get the listener headbanging and fully indulge in the old-school vibe that the songs emanate.

Wierd thing...got this reissue, but has got an alternate back-cover?!?! (same pic of Neal as on the picture disc version, looking great) and also the track Lost Sanctuary is missing. Does this version listed here actually includes this track??? So, not sure what my version is, but it's also from 2016. Anyways, omitting my fave track on the album (besides Northern Heroes) is a BIG mistake Costa! I wish you hadn't done this. A nice surprise being given this album as a present from a friend, looking sooo "noble"...but then I see the track listing & I'm shocked.

Hmmmm... my copy seems to be the same as yours, as long as the B side has "Heavy Metal Revolution" in place of "Lost Sanctuary".
