The Bob Dylan and the Band 1974 Tour – often referred to as Tour '74 – was a two-month concert tour in early 1974 that featured Bob Dylan, in his first real tour in eight years, performing with The Band. As The Hawks, the then little-known group had backed him on his previous tour, the exhaustive 1966 world tour, between the releases of Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde on Blonde.

Dylan and The Band rip through this traditional number that Dylan recorded acoustically on his debut album. Robbie Robertson slashes through a guitar solo, and even Garth Hudson’s organ playing is a bit aggressive.

Bob Dylan released 'Desire' on January 16, 1976. The album's centerpieces were rooted in real-life drama.

The debut album is great. Should be at the Top 5. Surprised isn't on the list.
