Bryan Charles Hollon (born June 22, 1974), better known by his stage name Boom Bip, is an American record producer and musician. He is one half of Neon Neon along with Gruff Rhys. He is based in Los Angeles, California. Boom Bip started his career as a DJ while attending college in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1998, he released a collaborative EP with DJ Osiris, titled The Low End Sequence EP, on Mush Records.

The Boom Bip sound really flourishes when Hollon happens upon a suitable meshing of his dual interests in indie rock and electronica- on Zig Zaj that point occurs on the wonderful "Pele", which bears a heavy load of austere electronics that are gradually flipped out of the picture by some distinctly Cure -like flanged guitar riffing.

Zig Zaj is predictably unpredictable, something else again for the artist. Featuring a host of collaborators including Bon Iver, Luke Steele, Money Mark and new permanent Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, it's the sort of album that makes you realise that, texturally, these are the richest pop times of all. These tracks are soaked and refracted in a whole gamut of old styles and modern inflections, from glam to post-rock, from electro-pop to electronica.
