Eddie Daniels (born October 19, 1941) is an American musician and composer. Although he is best known as a jazz clarinetist, he has also played alto and tenor saxophones, as well as classical music on clarinet. Daniels was born in New York City to a Jewish family, and his mother emigrated from Romania. He was raised in the Manhattan Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City.

This 10-track collection presents the songs and styles that have elevated Daniels from the ranks of steady, untouted musician to top-selling, acclaimed star. He's done light classical, pop/fusion, retro jazz and quasi-New Age material during his GRP tenure, and there are samples of each on the disc. While Daniels displays great facility and versatility, his solos have minimal intensity and excitement, even on longer pieces. As a result, the listener is never hooked by these.
