Zimbabwe‘ released one album (‚Social Dump‘, 2005) and recorded the second one (‚Gilyn‘, 2008). Finally, in 2012, after 3 years of silence, scattered members of the ex-band decided to release themselves and the dusty unpublished recordings, that they can officially claim the terminus of that wonderful punky journey together!

The media of Zimbabwe has been varying amounts of control by successive governments, coming under tight restriction in recent years by the government of Robert Mugabe, particularly during the growing economic and political crisis in the country. The Zimbabwean constitution promotes freedom of the media and expression, however this is hampered by interference and the implementation of strict media laws.
