Captain Gleason's Garden Band - The Band Played On flac album

The Band is the second studio album by the Band, released on September 22, 1969. It is also known as The Brown Album. According to Rob Bowman's liner notes for the 2000 reissue, The Band has been viewed as a concept album, with the songs focusing on people, places and traditions associated with an older version of Americana.

The Garden is an American duo from Orange County, California, formed in 2011 by twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears. The duo released their debut album The Life and Times of a Paperclip in 2013, with several smaller releases following. In 2015, the group released their second studio album Haha along with the lead single "All Smiles Over Here :)" to critical acclaim after being signed to Epitaph Records. They released their third album Mirror Might Steal Your Charm on March 30, 2018.

After two singles in the vein of "popular rhythm n' blues," the group underwent dramatic changes in their musical style, culminating in the Frank Zappa-produced album "Trout Mask Replica", a work conceived and directed by Don Van Vliet - better known as Captain Beefheart. He then followed a career as a solo artist, working with a rotating assembly of musicians comprising The Magic Band.

Come Taste the Band (CTTB) is a Norwegian classic hard rock band, founded in 1997 by guitarist Jo Henning Kaasin and singer Vidar Heldal. The early line-up, included bass player Stеle Naas, Eldar Melkvik on keyboards and Frode Flatland on drums. In the early years, CTTB was a Deep Purple tribute band and released two CD& with Deep Purple songs; A Tribute To Deep Purple in 1999 and Live in 2006. From 1997 to 2007, CTTB played hundreds of concerts in Scandinavia  . In 2011, Come Taste the Band teamed up with former Deep r, Joe Lynn Turner. JLT & CTTB toured Scandinavia, doing both Rainbow and Deep Purple material. Together they hit the road between 2012 to 2014.
