Album Words We Can Dance To. Old Fashioned Lyrics. Friends are always telling me that I'm old fashioned Out of date and born too late to ever catch on But maybe that's because they can't imagine The love of an old fashioned girl Now when they tell you you don't have a leg to dance on She is the one that you can take a chance on The. one who knows the difference between Promises and passion is my old fashioned girl.

Words We Can Dance To. Tossin' and Turnin' Lyrics. Tossin' and Turnin' is found on the album Words We Can Dance To. Found on more albums: Live Wire. Steve Goodman – Tossin' and Turnin'.

Listen to the biggest hits from Steve Goodman, including Lincoln Park Pirates, Song for David, Go Cubs Go, and more. Goodman's subsequent Asylum albums were Words We Can Dance To (April 1976) (featuring "Banana Republics," popularized by Jimmy Buffett), Say It in Private (October 1977), High and Outside (February 1979), and Hot Spot (1980). None became a major commercial success, but Goodman established himself on the national club and festival circuits, frequently appearing with mandolin player Jethro Burns, formerly of the country duo Homer & Jethro. Goodman turned record producer for his friend and fellow Chicagoan John Prine on Prine's 1978 album Bruised Orange.
