Ice Cream Castle (1984). Pandemonium is a 1990 album by The Time. Much like the three previous albums, the album consists of music in the funk-pop or ballad genre, although this album breaks the Time's six-song album tradition. The album is a tie-in with the film Graffiti Bridge and several songs from the album appear in the film The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and "Jerk Out" became one of the band's biggest singles. The second single, "Chocolate" didn't fare as well.
The Time's third and final album before the band splintered into three different camps, Ice Cream Castle is yet another six-song offering highlighted by a cache of fantastic songs ("Ice Cream Castle," "Jungle Love," "The Bird") offset by some slight material (the Morris Day features "Chili Sauce" and "If the Kid Can't Make You Come".

Ice Cream Castle is a 1984 album by The Time. Similar to their previous two albums, this album consists of six tracks in the funk-pop or ballad genre and it was produced and arranged by Prince as "The Starr ★ Company". The album's two biggest hits, "Jungle Love" and "The Bird", were featured in the film Purple Rain and this, along with Day's performance in the movie, catapulted the album up the charts and to a crossover audience. Ice Cream Castle is the third full-length studio album by The Time, and was released in conjunction with the band's appearance in the movie Purple Rain. Like the two previous albums, Ice Cream Castle was largely written, recorded and produced by Prince, and contained little input from band members other than Morris Day and Jesse Johnson. Sessions for the album began in late March 1983, at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (while Prince and The Time were still on the 1999 Tour), beginning with Jungle Love.
