Days of Future Passed Live is a live album by The Moody Blues that consists of their live performance at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto in 2017. The album was released on 23 March 2018. The performance was the first time in the band's history that they had played the entire Days of Future Passed album live, and is particularly notable for the inclusion of songs written by Mike Pinder, whose material has seldom been included in the band's live sets since his 1978 departure.

Days of Future Passed is the second album and first concept album by English prog rock band The Moody Blues, released in November 1967 by Deram Records. With its fusion of orchestral and rock elements, it has been cited as one of the first examples of progressive rock. The album was recorded at a time when the Moody Blues were suffering financial difficulties and lack of critical and commercial success.

The Moody Blues' legendary album Days of Future Passed turned 50 last year, and to celebrate, the band performed the album in its entirety live on tour. That performance is now making its way to fans. Days of Future Passed Live is set for a March 23 release on DVD, Blu-ray and CD. You can see the track listing below and a trailer above. The upcoming video and audio sets kick off with the Moddy Blues performing a selection of their best-known songs. They are then joined by the orchestra for a full performance of Days of Future Passed. Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons supplies the voice for the two spoken-word tracks, Morning Glory and Late Lament. The DVD also includes a bonus segment, "Remembering Days of Future Passed," which features new interviews with band members Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge talking about the making of their classic album.

For an album that was, according to surviving members of the Moody Blues (guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward, bassist/vocalist John Lodge and drummer Graeme Edge), recorded in a mere seven days, Days of Future Passed (Deram, 1967) remains one of the early masterpieces of progressive rock, in addition to becoming a relatively constant (and big) seller. There may, however, be a couple of myths behind the reality of its origin

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of their iconic, landmark album, Days of Future Passed, The Moody Blues performed the album in its entirety in Toronto at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in July 2017. The performance was backed by a 67-piece symphony orchestra. The band’s greatest hits were performed in the first half, and then finished with their historic 1967 epic album. Fans have waited 50 years to experience this moment in time. Bring The Concert Experience Home With Brilliant Picture and Superior Surround Sound.

The Moody Blues classic 1967 album Days Of Future Passed is regarded as one of the foundation stones of the progressive rock genre. In 2017, the band headed out on the album's 50th Anniversary Tour including the wonderful show captured at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts in Toronto accompanied by a full orchestra. The concert begins with the band by themselves performing a selection of classic Moody Blues tracks before they are joined by the orchestra to perform Days Of Future Passed in its entirety plus a couple of fantastic encore tracks. This is without doubt the definitive live version of this much loved.

Days Of Future Passed. Renews automatically. I saw the Moody Blues play live once, at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, and after the band played this song, the applause went on for at least ten minutes. Hayward looked down at the stage floor, and seemed somewhat embarrassed by all the fuss.
