Once Upon a Time in the West is the second studio album by English indie rock band Hard-Fi. It was released on 3 September 2007 on Necessary/Atlantic and Warner Music UK. It reached in the UK Album Chart in the first week of its release, and in the European Top Albums. The first single from the album, "Suburban Knights", was released on 20 August 2007, reaching in UK charts and a download only release on 13 August 2007.

The White Buffalo's first full-length album, Hogtied Like a Rodeo, debuted in 2002. This was followed by The White Buffalo EP, produced by Eels' Koool G Murder, which Smith states is about "relationships, love, loss and booze with a little murder mixed i. This EP was musically grounded in acoustic folk and country blues. In a friend's living room in 2008, he re-recorded the first album, dubbing it Hogtied Revisited. This album got me hooked on the White Buffalo. I first heard him on Sons of Anarchy and then I bought in when I heard him do a live in studio set on a podcast I listen to. After that I sought his work out and have been consistently impressed ever since. At the time of my discovery this was his most recent work. It has bits of rock, country, folk, and a little bit of everything else. The vinyl is great and sound is good  . This is the first album I picked up by The White Buffalo.
