The Cavern Club at 10 Mathew Street, in Liverpool was the venue where the Beatles' (formerly known as the Quarrymen) UK popularity started. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Pete Best were first seen by Brian Epstein at the club. Epstein eventually became their manager, going on to secure them a record contract. Best was replaced by Ringo Starr on 16 August 1962, which upset many Beatles fans. After taunts of, "Pete forever, Ringo never!", one agitated fan headbutted Harrison in the club.

This album almost could be called The Greatest Hits of Merseybeat, as it contain some of the most famous recordings to emerge from that area. Besides The Beatles tracks that are featured on side two, it also includes other Merseybeat artists such as Gerry and The Pacemakers and Cilla Black. The Cavern offers a pleasant vibe that complements your stay in the paradise province of El Nido. The pods were comfy, it makes you slumber the minute you lie onto it after a tiring adventure. The food and coffee were great and unlike any other food in the province, it had a modern twist. As a young adventurer, it appealed to my sense of taste because I don't just want to eat traditional Filipino food  . We stayed at the cavern for 8 nights and we loved it! The staff is awesome and we felt comfortable since the beginning. The room was clean and so cozy.

The album’s punning title is taken from a track of the same name which Jimmy penned during a flurry of songwriting last year – inspired by a move to the Liverpool waterfront which, it appears, really opened the creative floodgates. Jimmy, who was part of The Blue Meanies before forming the Cavern Club Beatles with brother Tony six years ago, explains: I felt like I wrote it in two months, it just came so fast. I’ve had a bit of a back away from writing my own songs, with the Cavern Club Beatles and other things going on in my life
