English singer-songwriter Adele has released three studio albums, two extended plays, and 16 singles. Adele signed a record deal with XL in 2006, and released her debut album 19 in 2008. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, and her single, "Chasing Pavements", reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Another single, "Make You Feel My Love", reached number one in the Netherlands.

Adele’s untitled fourth studio album is the follow-up album to her 2015 release, 25, with a release date to be determined. At a show in Belfast during her Adele Live 2016 tour, Adele mentioned the possibility of debuting new material toward the tour’s conclusion, indicating a potentially shorter break between albums, though this never came to fruition. She did, however, record a studio version of her arrangement of George Michael’s Fastlove that was rumored to be released in December of 2017.

Apparently, Adele has written a number of songs for her new album. An insider told The Sun in June 2018: She’s back in the UK and intends to write here.
