Akubi Object have forged their own unique brand of deathrock by infusing chaotic rhythms, experimental sounds, and an unapologetic Numan-esqe synth element. When these recordings were produced back in 1996-1997, members of the band were also working regularly around the Los Angeles area lending their talents to such legendary artists as Rozz Williams, Eva O, and Gitane Demone. A five song EP was released in very limited quantity on cassette although it found a much wider audience over the years as the tape was regularly copied and traded and later through other means of digital dissemination.

Our friends Bloody Dead And Sexy are coming to LA in March. Their bass player Tim was responsible for the graphic design and layout of the Akubi Object CD reissue. Please come out to the show and help spread the word!
