Enter 2014 - MELECHESH are set off to record their 6th album entitled Enki. After spending a full month of practice in their rehearsal room in Hinzweiler, Germany, MELECHESH entered the studios in Athens, Greece for the recording sessions of Enki. Only the drums where nailed down at Devasoundz Studios and engineered by Fotis Benardo.
Enki", the new album from Mesopotamian black/thrash pioneers MELECHESH, can be streamed in its entirety below. Due on March 10 via Nuclear Blast, the follow-up to 2010's "The Epigenesis" was recorded in Greece by Giorgos Bokos (ROTTING CHRIST) while Jonas Kjellgren (IMMORTAL, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, OVERKILL, HYPOCRISY) took care of the mix and mastering at his Black Lounge Studios in Sweden
Enki" is an album which uncovers more as you discover further, but also demonstrates Melechesh's ability to stand out from their peers. Case in point: 2015's Enki, an album which explores all corners of the mythology concerning the god of the same name.
