I was a 3 Dog Night fan in my misspent youth, but this album still holds up. There are those (me included) who think it's one of the best live performances ever captured, largely because it's a complete set and not a series of snapshots, of a band in their prime. The energy is comparable to Van Halen's first album (recorded essentially live in the studio).
