One of the better compilations of Three Dog Night material, Celebrate covers all the important bases in the popular singles band's career. There's a brief hint of pre-3DN material from co-lead singers Danny Hutton and Cory Wells (no Chuck Negron), along with one stellar, tragically unreleased track from the band's brief Redwood incarnation, the Brian Wilson-penned "Time to Get Alone. The remainder of this two-CD collection recaps the group's many Top 40 hits along with choice album tracks.

Danny Hutton, co-founder of the legendary American band Three Dog Night. The band started with three lead vocalists - Danny, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells. This photo was taken in his Laurel Canyon home, where we went to interview him for a movie I am working on. Before forming TDN, Danny had some singles out, including "Roses & Rainbows," worked with Brian Wilson - and actually appeared - as an animated cartoon version of himself, Danny Hutton- on the Flintstones! Danny is a very kind, humble, talented and funny man.

Danny Hutton is most famous as one of the three lead singers in Three Dog Night, but he did have a solo career prior to helping found that band in the late '60s. In the mid-'60s, he put out a few singles on the Hanna-Barbera and MGM labels. One of those, Roses and Rainbows, was a small hit (and a big one in Southern California).
