Shortly after the debut albums' release, Tony Richards left and was replaced by drummer Steve Riley. then embarked on their first world tour but their reputation had preceded them. Initial dates in Ireland were canceled. In England, promoters tried to get the band to sign agreements promising not to torture anyone, release rats, or throw raw meat at the audience! Meanwhile, the debut album acheived Gold status in the . and eventually sold more than one million copies worldwide. Singles released off .

London 1986 is a live album by the English group Talk Talk, released in Europe by Pond Life Records on compact disc in 1999. It was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 8 May 1986 near the end of their European tour to promote their 1986 studio album The Colour of Spring. This show was the band's last in the UK, and the tour would be the band's final live performances, although they went on to release two more studio albums in 1988 and 1991.

The recording was actually made on 10 oct. 1986.

Before the start of the British leg of the 'Electric Circus' tour, W.A.S.P flew into London to appear live at the "Town and Country Club" (Kentish Town) for a BBC2 special called "Rock Around The Clock".
That show was then broadcast on 27 oct. 1986. The same date as the opening night of the tour.
The opening show where W.A.S.P. actually played on this date was at S.F.X. Centre, Dublin, Ireland.
The London date on this tour was 6 days later, 2 nov. at Hammersmith Odeon.
