STATEMENT BY GORDON HASKELL for 2019. I believe it is time for a new beginning. The birth of a new world. Our children are the future and a song filled with joy and innocence is as good as any place for a child to start. Happy children stand a chance of becoming happy adults. I read it on the back of a bus shelter once. PS. My new album is nearing completion and I expect it to be released by July 2019. Its title is ‘The cat who’s got the cream’. It will include the above single, but the rest of the songs lean towards the influences of the great American songbook.

Gordon Haskell (born 27 April 1946, in Verwood, England) is a Pop, Rock & Blues music vocalist, songwriter, and bassist. He first gained recognition as a member of the British band Les Fleur de Lys. He sang on one of the songs of King Crimson's second album, then played bass and sang on their third album
