Michael James Williams (c. 1944 – 15 September 1983), known as Prince Far I, was a Jamaican reggae deejay, producer and a Rastafarian. He was known for his gruff voice and critical assessment of the Jamaican government. His track 'Heavy Manners' used lyrics against measures initiated towards violent crime. His first album, Psalms For I, featuring the Lord's Prayer and various psalms, was dedicated to the illiterate who could not read the Bible for themselves

Live With Prince Far-I" features the great Prince Far-I performing his last ever gig with SUNS OF ARQA, before he was shot and killed upon his return to Kingston, Jamaica. This is a legendary live recording from Band On The Wall, Manchester. Prince Far-I's reggaeton vocal delivery like growling thunder, take centre stage on many tracks and is completely engrossing. We're also treated to some more freeform, psychedelic jams that don't crop up that often on Arqa releases. The legendary Prince Far-I meets Suns Of Arqa. Live concert recorded in 1982. Veganhead Why do I love this album? The line up says it all: Prince Far-I and Suns Of Arqa. What's not to love in that. The voice of thunder and the whirling dub together <3 bliss.
