Flo & Eddie are a comedic musical duo consisting of Mark Volman (Flo, short for "Phlorescent Leech") and Howard Kaylan (Eddie). The two were the original founding members of the Top 40 rock group the Turtles. After the Turtles dissolved, Volman and Kaylan first joined the Mothers of Invention as Phlorescent Leech & Eddie. Contractual restrictions imposed early in their career prevented Volman and Kaylan from using the name "the Turtles", as well as their own names, in a musical context.

Flo & Eddie is the second album from Flo & Eddie. After being out of print since the 1970s, it was released on CD for the first time in 2008 in a package that includes their first album, The Phlorescent Leech & Eddie (1972). The album was produced by Bob Ezrin, who was the producer for Alice Cooper. The album was made to accompany the Alice Cooper Billion Dollar Babies world tour in 1973-74, for which Flo & Eddie were the opening act.

Their second and final Reprise album - titled Flo & Eddie (1974) - was ostensibly created so that the duo would have product to push during their high profile opening slot on Alice Cooper's (then) big-budget Billion Dollar Babies (1974) tour.
