It took him a long time (12 years) to get national recognition, but once he broke through with the "Night Moves" album in 1979, Seger and the Silver Bullet Band enjoyed sold-out tours and high charting albums on their own terms for 40 years. Currently in his "farewell tour" this record shows Seger struggling to "find his feet" ( a phrase from his song "Down on Main Street" on the Night Moves album.
