Rena Kyriakou revealed an early aptitude for the piano and for composition, and gave her first public performance at the age of six in Athens, performing twelve original piano pieces. She studied first in Vienna under Paul Weingarten and Richard Stöhr and then in Paris under Henri Büsser and Isidor Philipp. At the age of sixteen, she was awarded the first prize for piano at the Conservatoire National de Paris. Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2 is the tenth soundtrack album by the cast of the American musical television series Glee, released by Columbia Records on November 11, 2011. The album features twelve Christmas tunes: ten covers and two original songs. The original songs are both written by Adam Anders, Peer Åström and Shelly Peiken: "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" and "Christmas Eve with You".

The reason that this is the official soundtrack and why the other songs aren't in the official album or in a different album is because the vast majority of the songs were composed by Nathan Hanover. The songs that are not in the OST include several ambient tracks and the extras song.

The album followed a similar song structure to Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic, but two tracks (Everyday Is A Winding Road and Strange But True) were removed, and a different track (Beautiful Strange, which had previously been released on the Beautiful Strange home video in an alternate form) was added. This album was designed as a companion piece to Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic.
