Christine Elizabeth Clark (born February 1, 1946), better known as Chris Clark, is an American soul, jazz, and blues singer, who recorded for Motown Records. Clark became known to Northern Soul fans for hit songs such as 1965's "Do Right Baby Do Right" (by Berry Gordy) and 1966's "Love's Gone Bad" (nd). She later co-wrote the screenplay for the 1972 motion picture Lady Sings the Blues starring Diana Ross, which earned Clark an Academy Award nomination.

Unissued on CD to date, this out of print album contains the blue-eyed soul singer's nd stomper "Love Gone Bad" and the righteous "Do Right Baby, Do Right. Clark has more heart than voice and more soul than skill but can work it on the right material

Soul Sounds is the debut album by soul singer Chris Clark, released in 1967. As a white artist on a label for which artists were predominantly black, the album made Clark a cult heroine. The album is considered one of Motown's most collectable. Soul Sounds is a choir based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. After they participated in the Llangollen Eistedfodd competition in Wales 2004, and subsequently leaving the school, the choir decided to continue singing with a new and independent identity, Soul Sounds. Soul Sounds participated in the fourth World Choir Games in Xiamen, China winning two silver medals.
