Red Snapper are a British instrumental band founded in London in 1993 by Ali Friend (double bass), Richard Thair (drums), and David Ayers (guitar). The three core members are also joined by various guest musicians and vocalists on different records. Since the 2007 reunion Tom Challenger (saxophone) has also been a member of the band.

Featuring a track from the forthcoming album, an exclusive remix from Plaid as well as two exclusive tracks not found on the album. The pioneering UK band continue to break boundaries and invent new sounds whilst staying true to the unique energy that fans have always loved.

This Snapper album is a collection of previously unreleased material, live tracks and remixes of and by the trio. Due to the demise of Nuphonic Records, the final Snapper EP never had a release.
