Talk about Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia - Wilde Tales

Lanin
A really nice UK fusion album. Killer flute accented by some lovely melodic fretless bass with the Giant of a monster the opener track..The Child almost echoes mid 70s era Garbarek in her approach to her sax annunciation. Did I mention the addition of the "never-enough" Rhodes thru-out the lp? Its all their the ingredients for a finely crafted late 70s jazz fusion album fronted by Barbara Thompson and accompanied by very willing and able cast of jazz musicians. Too bad this isnt on cd......
