All Pigs Must Die is an American metalcore supergroup consisting of Kevin Baker of The Hope Conspiracy, Ben Koller of Converge, and Adam Wentworth and Matt Woods of Bloodhorse. All Pigs Must Die is signed to Nonbeliever Records, an imprint label of Shirts & Destroy. The band's debut EP, which was recorded at Kurt Ballou's GodCity Studio, was released in October 2010. The cover artwork was designed by German illustrator Florian Bertmer.

Featuring members of Converge, Trap Them, and Bloodhorse, All Pigs Must Die can be relied upon for maximum aggression and searing punk fury. On their third album, the band cranks the violence up to 11 with the addition of second guitarist Brian Izzi, who injects a burly dose of Swedish death metal into APMD’s muscular onslaught. From the opening barrage of the title track and psychotic frenzy of A Caustic Vision to the Sabbathian guitar moans of Cruelty Incarnate, Hostage Animal is a feral beast. All Pigs Must Die serve up just enough variety on their latest offering to keep their sound fresh and entertaining. While the album's shorter cuts rely on a tired system, they are well-executed and tightly performed. Hostage Animal finds success within the depth of its long, dramatic songs. Should the band continue to flirt with various influences, their next offering could reveal a new beast altogether.

Breath have been quiet since releasing a largely mediocre death metal album two years ago, Enabler imploded around that same time, and even Pigs’ last record was Nothing Violates This Nature way back in 2013
