Satanic Surfers are a Swedish punk rock band from Lund, Skåne. Satanic Surfers was formed in fall, 1989 by vocalist Erik Kronwall and drummer Rodrigo Alfaro. Soon after, Frederik Jakobsen and Magnus Blixtberg joined on guitar, while Tomek Sokolowski took on bass duties. The band did not release their debut album until 1993. Named Skate to Hell, the record was the first release issued by Bad Taste Records. Ulf Eriksson replaced Erik on vocals for 1994's Keep Out on Burning Heart Records

Ten Foot Pole is an American punk rock band, formerly on Epitaph Records. Ten Foot Pole was founded in 1983 as Scared Straight. Scared Straight was a punk band from Simi Valley, California. The band was formed in 1983 by a group of friends and was originally called . Original members were Scott Radinsky, Mike Thompson, Gary Gallanes, and Dennis Jagard, who started the band to enter a "Battle of the Bands" competition at a local skate rink.

The first three songs (by Ten Foot Pole) are absolutely amazing. With Walkin' to open it, you already know this album is gonna be awesome. Tunnel's End makes its statement with a crunchy guitar riff, going 3000 beats per minute. But what really makes this album worth it, is Gnarly Charlie. This song is extremely well written, both lyrically and musically. This song still sends chills down my spine. Onto Satanic Surfers, who open their three song set with Truck Driving Punk, which is about getting crazily drunk. The strong points with Satanic Surfers are the fast beats, the excellent.
