Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 is the second and final studio album by American hip-hop recording artist Lil Peep. It was released on November 9, 2018 through Columbia Records. As his first posthumous release, the album comes after Lil Peep died from a drug overdose just months after the release of his debut studio album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1 in August 2017. The record was primarily produced by Smokeasac and the production trio IIVI

This is the second part to Lil Peep’s first official album release, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1. COWYS Pt. 2 was announced just a few days before the anniversary of Peep’s death and was pieced together by Peep’s longtime producer Smokeasac and George Astasio of IIVI, who have already worked on the first part. Smokeasac’s brother 66Swords also helped with the album. The first single was Cry Alone, released on October 18th, 2018. On November 1st, 2018, the second single Runaway was released.

Lil Peep fans might soon get the posthumous album they've all been waiting for. The tracklist and release date for the late artist's new Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2 album was revealed. The design also contained the tracklist to Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2. The new album will be broken down into two sides and contain 11 songs in total. Noticeably missing is "Falling Down," the recently-released collab with XXXTentacion. News of a new Peep album possibly coming broke last month. The new album will be released via Columbia Records.

When Gustav Åhr died, his career was hovering just above the ground. He was 21 years old with four tapes and a few EPs under his stage name Lil Peep-just enough work to carve out an aesthetic and build a corner of the world. At shows, fans were starting to chant back every word of his songs.

His music hybridized Midwest indie rock’s downcast, confessional over-sharing and hip-hop production values with such a cool simplicity that it threw a lot of die-hard fans of both genres for a loop. Peep’s lyricism was matter-of-fact and diaristic in its discomfort, and his handle on melody was bright and fey. That made it a tough sell for rap fans who consider themselves sticklers for intricate bars, flows, and metaphors.
