This was a performance of top class music from the unsung ‘Queen of the Blues’ whose every breath is the Blues with all the style and sensuality of the great ladies past. Sheer vocal power allied to her stage persona and Blues emotion like Janis Joplin, Maggie Bell and Nina Simone combined. The Lady can sing the blues with her soul. The honor of singing Elmore James’ signature song 'Dust My Broom' went to commanding British vocalist Deborah Bonham
