Glen Miller was even before my time (I'm 53) but I saw the Glen Miller story on TV and loved his music. I used to hear those big band sounds when my dad played the records in his albums. I too saw the Glenn Miller Story movie on TV, and really enjoyed hearing some of his music. I think that was a very romantic time to be young, and your partner always danced close enough to kiss you. Or so it looked in the movies.
